February 3, 2026 I had an excellent experience with James River Irrigation today and felt compelled to leave a review. I called this morning after discovering that my irrigation system had been improperly winterized, which caused a pipe to burst on the meter side leading to the irrigation system and spill water into my front yard. To my surprise and relief, the technician, Shane, arrived at my home within an hour of my call. Within that same hour, Shane not only fixed the immediate issue, but also quickly and clearly diagnosed the root cause of the problem. He took the time to explain what had happened and provided a thoughtful and practical solution strategy for moving forward so this would not happen again. His professionalism, efficiency, and knowledge were truly impressive. If this experience is any indication of the level of service James River Irrigation consistently provides, I highly recommend them to anyone needing irrigation services or help with other lawn care issues.
